Silent Auction
Held every year in conjunction with ISRI’s annual convention and exposition, the Recycling Education and Research Foundation raises funds to sponsor projects which promote public awareness, education, research, and the advancement of recycling.
As the primary way of raising money, the proceeds from the auction support the foundation’s efforts to strengthen the recycling industry through industry research and fund scholarships, grants, and other initiatives.
Over the years, the Silent Auction has raised over $273,000 from donations such as scrap metal art, hotel packages, jewelry, sporting goods, and equipment and tools for scrap facilities.
